Accuracy & Range
- Measures from -55°C to +125°C (-67°F to +257°F), reading in Celsius or Fahrenheit.
- Precision of ±0.1°C (0.18°F).
- Accuracy of ±0.5°C (0.9°F) from -10°C to +85°C (14°F to 185°F).
- The 0.1°C steps resolve the slow creep of a failing CRAC or a blocked filter long before a threshold trips.
Note: the probe's measurement range is wider than the operating range of the base unit itself — in extreme environments, place the base unit within its own environmental limits and run the probe's cable to the hot or cold spot.
Calibration & Certification
All sensors drift over time, mainly due to physical factors. That is a property of sensing elements, not of any particular brand — what matters is whether the drift is measured and corrected.
